Vargas Wedding

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you for always: Mr. & Mrs. Vargas!

On a beautiful June day, Juan and Cecilia celebrated their love story and united in marriage. The picturesque scenery of Silver Lake surrounded the celebration. It was tremendously fun and meaningful helping these two beautiful souls join together as husband and wife.

Enjoy a few excerpts from this special ceremony below.

It’s a blessing how people come into our lives according to God’s plan and especially God’s timeframe. Little did Juan and Cecilia know their combined fate when they met as 6th graders. By the time they were high school sophomores their love for each other began to grow. Juan used to put coconut oil in his long hair back then, so he says it must’ve been the hair!

Through their friendship, these two souls united in a bond of true love. Together, their presence is calming, and it’s easy to sense their love for each other is pure and grounded. 4 years ago, caught up in the joy and ease of a casual moment, Juan couldn’t wait any longer and asked Cecilia to be his bride. They now get to celebrate being united in marriage on the 10-year anniversary of their relationship.

Today, along with their son, Alexander, Juan and Cecilia are ready to be united as a family. With faith in each other and faith in God, may Juan and Cecilia’s marriage and family be blessed with eternal love and togetherness. May your joys be as bright as the morning, and your sorrows merely be shadows that fade in the sunlight of love.

Juan and Cecilia, your union today also unites your families. This sand ceremony is a beautiful representation of the joining of your lives. Each of you chose a unique color sand to represent your individuality. As the grains of sand get combined into this one vessel, your lives blend together as one family. Each color will always be visible, just as your uniqueness will always remain. However, once these grains of sand intermix, they will become inseparable- just like your union and devotion to each other. You are creating a beautiful, colorful family.

The love Juan and Cecilia share is a beautiful blessing. May their love continue to grow and through strength, unity, and time be a blessing not only onto themselves but onto their families and the world around them. May the two of you stay connected in any adversity and treasure and protect your marriage. May all of us present today as witnesses commit to uphold and encourage this couple to the best of our ability. May we all express abundant thankfulness for this day, our friendships, our health, and our precious time.
