Freeland Wedding

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you for always: Mr. & Mrs. Freeland!

The sweltering heat of this July day begged for this intimate ceremony to remain indoors, but nothing could contain the love of this bride and groom. A handful of loved ones were ushered into a family room by Leo, the bride’s parents’ dog. Unbeknownst to Leo, the party was not for him. Everyone present was bursting with love to witness the union of Reese and Jamie. This couple fits together so naturally and peacefully, it is magical to be around them. It was a lovely honor to help them unite in marriage.

Enjoy a few excerpts from this special ceremony below.

What an incredible blessing it is when the right person for you finally comes into your life. It’s a magical, beautiful feeling of gratitude and peace when God’s plan is finally revealed. When Jamie and Reese met in 2020 and strolled down by the lake, they just knew their connection was true.

Jamie and Reese understand each other, they bring comfort and support to each other, and they complete each other. Together they are whole.

As you journey through a lifetime of love together, may you continue to lift each other up. May you continue to play and bring joy to each other’s lives, like how you try to out cook each other and hide your special spices. Stay positive when you can. Endure together when you must. May your love stay strong when life and love are simple, and may your love prove to be even stronger when life and love are challenging.

May your love grow and through strength, unity, and time be a blessing not only onto your marriage but onto your families and the world around you. May you treasure and protect your marriage. May all of us witnessing today commit to uphold and encourage this couple to the best of our ability.

I Will Be Here by Steven Curtis Chapman

Tomorrow morning if you wake up,

And the sun does not appear

I, I will be here.

If in the dark we lose sight of love,

Hold my hand, and have no fear

Cause I, I will be here.

I will be here when you feel like being quiet

When you need to speak your mind,

I will listen and

I will be here when the laughter turns to cryin’

Through the winning, losing and tryin’

We’ll be together ‘cause I will be here.

Tomorrow morning if you wake up,

And the future is unclear

I, I will be here.

Vows

(Jamie) Maurice, It is clear to me that everything in my life has led me to you.

I think back on all my choices and consider even the bad ones to be blessed, because if I had done even one thing differently, I might never have met you and become your wife.

You are my best friend, my one true love, the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. Today, I take you to be my husband. I promise to ALWAYS, love you, honor you, cherish you, to be true to you, and to put you and your feelings before anyone else’s.

I will always be your biggest cheerleader to praise you, inspire you, push you to keep going, and to cheer you on in life. I promise to always share my recipes, even the “secret” ingredients and spices I use, with you. I promise to ALWAYS buy Kwik Trip bread and pizza.

My love and commitment to you grows stronger with each passing day, and I will stay with you, beyond forever, because we are no longer two but one.

I love you, Mr. Freeland!

(Reese) My vows to my beautiful everything,

I vow to express my love for you as often as I breathe each breath.

I promise to never lose our spark and to always do the little things to make you happy. I will always love you no matter what comes our way. When life and love are simple and when life and love are more challenging, my commitment to you will always be strong and true.

I promise to always make you laugh and to laugh together. I promise we will always be a family forever.

You are my person, my inspiration, my love, and my everything. I cannot wait to spend a lifetime loving you.

To Mr. and Mrs. Freeland and a lifetime of love! Cheers!
