Twenty years ago, as middle schoolers at Bullen, it was not love at first sight for Jose and Sabrina. In 6th grade she rejected him, in 8th grade she gave in and dated him, they stayed together through their years at Bradford High School, and in their 20s they welcomed three beautiful children into the world. Jose says that Sabrina is mean, and Sabrina says that Jose is annoying…but deep down, true love keeps these two connected year after year.

For Sabrina’s 30th birthday, the couple took a vacation to Florida, received news of an accepted offer to purchase their first home together, and a very nervous Jose proposed to Sabrina on the beach while his friends- I won’t mention names…Leon, DJ, Hesh, and CJ- stood out of order wearing shirts that were supposed to spell out “will you marry me.” It was fun and funny and full of love, just like this couple.

While it took a long time to get here, the journey is what makes the destination worth getting to. Today, along with their children, Santino, Ariela, and Anaise, Jose and Sabrina are ready to be united as a family.

With the wisdom of the years and with eyes and hearts wide open, Jose and Sabrina, you are called to be each other’s love story and embrace your happily ever after together.

Vows

(Jose) I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

Sabrina, I take you as you are, loving who you are now and who you are yet to become.

I promise to appreciate you, to grow with you, and to be supportive of you.

I will cherish you always.

I will love you and have faith in your love for me,

through all our years together and all that life may bring us.
