Moe-Koster Wedding

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you for the first time and for always, Mr. and Mrs. Koster!

Frank and Mellissa united in marriage at the stunning Covenant at Murray Mansion in Racine, Wisconsin. The sentimental details were lovely, and it was a celebration to remember. It was a beautiful honor for me to get to know Frank and Mellissa and to help them have a ceremony filled with love and blessings. I am so happy for this wonderful couple!

Enjoy a few excerpts from this special ceremony below.

Today, in the presence of these witnesses, Frank and Mellissa are ready to be united as one family. Also sharing in the love today are those gone before us. May you know in your hearts that your loved ones are watching over this celebration with joy, especially the bride’s parents, Bart and Leeda, the groom’s stepdad, Scott, and the groom’s grandparents, Frank and Marcella. May their love and support surround you always.

It is a beautiful blessing how life leads us through winding, cluttered pathways, and then suddenly, the path straightens and clears and you’re amazed to find that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. And it’s even more incredible when you look beside you and you find the person who is meant to be right there with you. We will never know why it took so long, but, Frank and Mellissa, your paths crossed right when they were supposed to. Suddenly, there you both were- placed with gentle perfection by God onto the same path, and somehow, everything that came before made sense, because everything going forward would be appreciated to the depths of your souls. From Mellissa being best friends with Frank’s sister to initiating the spark while playing the juke box at Main Street Tap in May of 2020, who but God knew that your love story was waiting for you.

With dinners, hikes, and lots of laughs, you fell in love and began building a beautiful life together. A 2023 lakeside proposal in the Ozarks maybe didn’t go exactly as planned. Mellissa didn’t see the need to walk down all those stairs to the lake. But, all the love was still there. Remember that as you spend the rest of your days living out your love story together. It is not all going to go as planned, but stay focused on all the love.

Mellissa said, “I knew Frank was an amazingly good man. I more than love him; I admire him as a person. With him life makes sense. With him is my favorite place to be.”

Frank said, “With Mellissa, I am home. The way she cares for me, I know in my soul I am seen and loved and safe. I want nothing more than to be with her always. Even at 32-years-old, I found myself sneaking through a basement window so I could spend time with Mellissa. I will do anything for her and for us.”

When two people join together and bond their lives forever because they are certain they have something special that will make their commitment last, this is the first act of faith. Upon this act of faith these two people will build a life. And as long as their determination stays with them, this life will always be their hope, their dreams, their truth, their being, their inspiration, and their source of strength. Through their life together, they will hurt and laugh. Together they will feel all of life’s ups and downs. They will learn and grow through trial and error. The lessons will show them the meaning of true love and the difference between a love that lasts and one that just gives up. These two people will face each failure together and discover the strength to go on. They will encourage each other’s dreams and forgive each other’s faults. Through a labor of love, these two will become as one, fighting against the odds and ultimately creating a commitment that will grow into an infinite love. -Regina Hill
