Beres-DeFalco Wedding

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you with love: Mr. and Mrs. DeFalco!

Loved ones gathered at Grand Geneva to celebrate Michael and Danielle. Their stunning September ceremony overlooked the rolling hills of the lush golf course, and the celebration continued indoors in one of the ballrooms. It was a lovely honor to get to know the bride and groom and to officiate their wedding ceremony.

Enjoy a few excerpts from this special ceremony below.

This is not the beginning of a new relationship but a continuation of Michael and Danielle’s life together. Today they start the next chapter of their love story, and it makes me so happy to officiate this union.

Three years ago, Michael and Danielle met for the first time. Although their connection was instantaneous, they each had different perspectives on how that first date went. Isn’t that right, Michael? Danielle called a friend right after the first date and told her, “This is the one!” Michael, on the other hand, thought the date didn’t go so well.

Flip forwards a few chapters and two years later, Michael picked out a ring and kept his proposal plans a secret from everyone. On a beautiful, sunny weekend, the couple visited the Botanical Gardens, and Michael surprised Danielle with his marriage proposal.

Today this couple turns another page to begin their life as husband and wife. Michael and Danielle, you are equal parts that make each other whole. Remember always that your friendship is the foundation of your marriage and that maintaining your playful enthusiasm and positivity will help you take on life’s challenges together.

Michael and Danielle, you are not only marrying the right partner, you have to reciprocally be the right partner. Your vows express the actions you promise to take to show your commitment and faithfulness to each other. And you must carry out the actions of your vows all the days of your lives to perpetually secure your union and journey together to “old love.”

(Michael) I, Michael, take you, Danielle, to be my wife.

With my whole heart, I promise to love you for exactly who you are.

I promise to be honest with you and understanding of you.

I promise to grow together and grow old by your side

With you as my love and my best friend

For all the days of my life.

(Danielle) I, Danielle, take you, Michael, to be my husband.

With my whole heart, I promise to love you for exactly who you are.

I promise to grow together and grow old by your side

With you as my love and my best friend

For all the days of my life.

Michael and Danielle, may God be with you and bless you. May your love be strong when life and love are simple, and may your love prove even stronger when life and love are challenging. May your marriage be modern enough to survive and thrive through the ever-changing years and old-fashioned enough to last forever.

To Michael and Danielle and a lifetime of love! Cheers!
