Virlas-Hedlund Wedding
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you for the first time and for always, Mr. and Mrs. Hedlund!
Surrounded by family and friends, Tyler and Sophia united in marriage at Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, WI. Loved ones shared special readings, and the couple’s sweet dog, Maverick, bounded down the aisle with the rings, stopping to give kisses and get snuggles along the way. Their celebration of a lifetime continued with heartfelt speeches and a ballroom full of love and happiness for the newlyweds. It was a joy and honor to officiate this union for Tyler and Sophia.
Enjoy a few excerpts from their ceremony below.

Today, in the presence of these witnesses, Tyler and Sophia are ready to be united as one family. It makes me so happy to officiate this union.
Tyler and Sophia met six years ago; but I believe this union was destined long before that, as fate has its way of finding us.
Quoting one of Sophia’s favorite novels, it reads:
“I was his and he was mine, and we were the beginning and middle and end. We were a song that had been sung from the very first ember of light in the world.”
Their love feels old in the most comforting way, and it will continue to transcend time, to whatever end.

With blessings from God, you are called to be each other’s love story and embrace your happily ever after together. Your union is based on love, but love isn’t just a feeling, it’s an action. The actions of your love can be quite simple to be powerful and to be everything you truly need to journey through the adventure of life together. Give each other an atmosphere in which you both can be real, you both can be imperfect, and you both can grow old. Remember always that a good marriage doesn’t just happen; it is created by two people over time.

(Tyler) Sophia, I take you as you are, loving who you are now and who you are yet to become.

Tyler and Sophia, may God be with you and bless you. May your love be strong when life and love are simple, and may your love prove even stronger when life and love are challenging. May your marriage be modern enough to survive and thrive through the ever-changing years and old-fashioned enough to last forever.

To Tyler and Sophia and a lifetime of love! Cheers!
