Jason + Krista Wedding

wedding officiant

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you for the first time and for always, Mr. and Mrs. Stucko!

I met Krista, a wedding photographer, years ago when we were both vendors at the same wedding. We worked really well together and stayed connected. It was a lovely surprise when she reached out to ask me to officiate her wedding! It was a joy and honor for me to help Krista and Jason have the beach wedding of their dreams on the shore of Lake Michigan near Wolfenbuttel Park in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Surrounded by their children, the lovely couple united in marriage with their toes in the sand and then jumped in the water for a fun photoshoot. I am so happy for this beautiful family!

Enjoy a few excerpts from this special ceremony below.

Today, in the presence of these witnesses, Jason and Krista, along with their children, are ready to be united as one family.

Turn together to look at the road you traveled, to reach this- the hour of your happiness. It is remarkable how a look, a smile, and “not free” breadsticks turned into thirteen years of love and family and adventure.

Look to the future that lies ahead. A long and winding road, whose every turn means discovery. From this day forward, you are called upon to journey together and to write your love story, with your words and actions, with your hearts and souls, every moment of every day, remembering always that “Love is friendship caught fire; it is quiet, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses. Love is content with the present, hopes for the future, and does not brood over the past.” -excerpt by Laura Hendricks

There is but one life before you. May happiness be your companion, and may beauty surround you both. Your adventure of marriage has just begun!

Vows

(Jason) Krista, I take you as you are, loving who you are now and who you are yet to become.

I promise to appreciate you, to grow with you, and to be supportive of you.

I will cherish you always.

I will love you and have faith in your love for me,

through all our years together and all that life may bring us.

Jason and Krista, may your marriage be modern enough to survive and thrive through the ever-changing years and old-fashioned enough to last forever.
